Tawnee Walling joined the Florida DART team as our Director of Development on June 17, 2013.  She has more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, most recently serving as the Interim CEO and Development 
Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester in Manchester, NH. 
Prior to her work at BBBSGM, she was Executive Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast from 2008-2012 and Executive Director at Seacoast Outright from 2004-2008—both based in Portsmouth, NH.  She has served on several Boards of Directors, including those of two foundations: 
Funding Exchange in New York City and Haymarket People’s Fund in Boston, MA and was a member of the Rotary Club of Portsmouth, NH. 
Although her primary experience has been in the field of human services, she is passionate about animals and is excited to bring her expertise in fundraising and nonprofit management to Florida DART.  Tawnee has a Bachelor Degree from Eckerd College and a Masters Degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City.  Having recently relocated to the Tampa Bay area, she enjoys kayaking, going to the beach, knitting and spending time with her family.
